What it does

Drop Target Points into a level, snap a Waypoints component onto any movable actor, and list the points it should visit. The component moves the actor smoothly from one waypoint to the next, with a per-leg travel time or speed, an optional starting delay, looping, and auto-rotation toward the next point.

02

Hooks for your own logic

Each waypoint change and each completed route fires an event you can wire into Blueprint. Start Moving and Stop Moving functions let you freeze an actor and resume it later, so routes can be triggered by what happens in play rather than starting when the level does. A Wait option holds the actor until you call Start Moving.

03

See the route

A WaypointsVisualizer component draws the travel lines in the level during play. Colour, duration and thickness are editable, and an Enable toggle switches the drawing off without losing the settings.

04

Made to be read

The listing describes the Blueprints as commented and intended to be studied: basic movement, time- and speed-based smooth movement over frames, orientation, and event hooking. Parts can be reused and modified in your own project.

Where to get it

Actor Waypoints was sold on the Unreal Engine Marketplace under the seller name Rainfold, listed at US$4.99 with engine support from 4.10 through 5.4. The Marketplace has since moved to Fab; check the seller profile for the current listing. This site does not sell or host the files.
